It’s been so long since I shared a try on from LOFT on this blog! I am so sorry about that! However, I have of course shared my love for LOFT – especially their blouses for work – on my weekly roundups and on my Instagram. LOFT is my favorite place to go for feminine yet also coastal, classic and preppy work outfits. They always have a good sale going on at least once a month, and their sizing is pretty spot on to being true to size. The quality is also top notch for being in the affordable price range. Every time I wear one of my blouses from LOFT to work, I get compliments on them all day. My only want is that they bring back extended plus sizing like they used to have.
This try on is full of all the classic and timeless fall outfits. I’m so excited to share them with y’all and as of today, every item I’m sharing is 30% off. Who doesn’t love a good sale!

Ruffle Collared Tunic Sweater Vest (size Medium – normally: $74.95, on sale: $52.46)
High Rise Wide Leg Jeans (size 30, but if between sizes go up one – normally: $89.95, on sale: $62.96)
A classic and preppy fall sweater combo that will be in style for years to come. The shirt and sweater vest are sewn together, which makes them unable to be separates. I love the feminine touch of the ruffle collar. The shirt is a little fitted in my normal size, especially where the wide band hits on the hips, so if you want a little more room and a looser fit, I would go up on size.
I’m still trying to jump on the wide leg jean trend and these are definitely helping me. While I don’t think pairing them with a tunic top was the right choice, I am still willing to give them a shot. These jeans in my normal size 30 gave me a little bit of a muffin top and there isn’t much stretch in them. If you’re in between sizes or want a little bit of a looser fit in them, I would size up one size.

I grabbed the same tunic sweater vest in this navy blue combo because I loved the coastal feel it had. The pinstripe button down is such a classic and sleek look and I honestly think I love the navy color more than the beige. Such a great work outfit for a Casual Friday outfit with jeans.

The best “outerwear” for warmer fall days. I love the pink plaid that LOFT is sharing this year, and you’re going to see a lot of it throughout this try on. This is a one size fits all and you just drape it over your shoulders for a preppy and classic look that also feels like you have a blanket wrapped around you. Really easy to throw on and off as the temperatures change throughout the day. This would look so cute paired with skinny jeans and western boots or tall boots.
Pointelle Ruffle Square Neck Top (size Large – normally: $54.95, on sale: $38.46)
Plaid Wrap Skirt (size 10 – normally: $69.95, on sale: $48.96)
I’m obsessed with the ruffle detail on the shoulders on this top. A basic top elevated with a feminine touch, this is a great basic top for layering and pairing throughout the fall and winter season. The ribbed material also gives it good texture and definition. I sized up one because it is a very fitted top.
This plaid skirt was my favorite of the try on! If I had places to wear a skirt to, I would’ve taken this skirt with me. I love a plaid skirt in the fall and this pink plaid one is so different, but a fun way to bring the color pink into fall. The wrap across the front of the skirt is so flattering and helps smooth out the apron belly look and the tie doesn’t need to be undone to put the skirt on. There’s a zipper on the back of the skirt. The size 10 is a little snug in the hips, but had good coverage overall. I didn’t feel like the skirt was going to slid up when moving around. If you do have wider hips, I would size up one size.
Bonjour! Sweater (size Medium – normally: $69.95, on sale: $48.96)
Faux Suede Wrap Skirt (size 10 – normally $79.95, on sale: $55.96)
This is such a fun sweater! I love a graphic top and this one is so subtle with a one word saying. The crew neck fits very well and the sleeves hit right at the wrist at the right spot. Such a nice neutral color, this would be a fun sweater to dress up and down.
The same skirt as the plaid one up above but in a suede material, this is the classic fall style. I personally liked how the plaid looked on me more, but I do love that this is a different style of a classic suede mini skirt. This one felt tighter around the hips, and it’s most likely because the material doesn’t have as much stretch, so I would definitely size up one if you have wider hips.
Plaid Ponte Button Pocket Dress (Size Medium – originally: $84.95, sale $59.46)
This one caught my eye from the hanger. When I think of classic fall style and Jackie O style, a dress similar to this definitely comes to mind. Again, I’m loving the pink plaid that LOFT is sharing this season, and the collared neck is such a cute touch to this. The material is a knit fabric, which allows it to breath very well. The medium is very snug and rides up when moving around, so if you want more comfort or if you’re in between sizes/have wider hips.
Textured Scoop Neck Swing Dress (size Medium – normally: $84.95, on sale: $59.46)
This might be my favorite dress from the pack. I’m obsessed with the classic look the houndstooth pattern gives. I also love a classic puff sleeve, scoop neck that LOFT tends to use on a lot of their clothing. The Medium fit me perfectly length wise and in the top half. There is stretch in the waist to give comfort and I had a good amount of room left in it. This is a great fall work dress paired with loafers, mary janes, or heels.
Geo Split Neck Flare Dress (size 10 – normally: $94.95, on sale – $66.46)
I love how different this pattern is and how well this dress can be paired with tall boots. Another way to bring pink into the fall season, this flare dress is so much fun to move around in. If you have wider shoulders or a larger chest, I would size up one size. I definitely needed to go up on size, as I definitely felt the tightness across the shoulders. This dress would also be a great option for teachers to wear at work.
Paisley Ruffle Tiered Midi Dress (size Medium – normally: $110, on sale $77)
This is such a fun and bold dress perfect for the fall season with the dark green base color. Not something I would typically wear as a dress, but would definitely wear as a blouse, this is a fun break from all the neutrals and stripes popular during the fall season. This is definitely a top seller on the LOFT website, as they only have smalls and x-small left. If they don’t have your size available online, definitely check in stores to see. what sizes they have available. Another great teacher outfit that would look so cute with white sneakers.
