Weekly Roundup 09.17-09.23.23

Even though this post is a few days late for my normal posting schedule, I’m still proud that I wrote it and got it out to y’all. Normally when this happens, I just decide to skip the week and try again next week, but I feel like that ruins the consistency that I am trying to get into the habit of. I appreciate y’all bearing with me while I try to figure out the best schedule for this blog around my insane work schedule.

The past week, my allergies started to hit pretty hard. Anyone else really feel it when ragweed season begin? I spent a lot of time sleeping, reading, and watching TV shows to try to relax when I wasn’t at work. I did order the rest of the shirts and ears I wanted for my Disneyland trip in November, which did come in yesterday, and so now I’m basically ready for the trip 6 weeks away. In my head that means that all I have to pay for on the trip is food and drinks because girl math. That was probably the most exciting part of my week, besides really starting to fine tune and share some fall outfits on Instagram and leaning into the trending videos that are happening over there.

Weather wise, we still had a pretty warm week for it officially being the start of the fall season. I felt like it was very hot the first day of Fall on Saturday and I don’t even want to get into how hot it was the other day. That’s a story for the next weekly roundup! As much as I am trying to incorporate fall clothing into my daily wardrobe, this weather is still not quite cool enough. However, it’s pretty normal in the South for it to not start cooling off until the later months. Maybe I”ll start a series in this post called what I wish I was wearing if it wasn’t hot outside OOTD (title to be worked on).
