Hi, I’m Melissa and welcome to The Melissa Chronicles!

This little corner of the internet is where I’m documenting life through stories, memories, and moments that feel a little magical. From (hopeful) dreamy travel days and Disney adventures to feminine, classic timeless fashion, books, Broadway reviews, and everyday life in the South, this blog is a collection of the chapters that make up my world.

I’m a born-and-raised southerner with a love for storytelling, cozy coffee shop mornings, and finding the positive in the little things. After graduating from the University of Louisiana Monroe with a degree in Kinesiology, I took a leap of faith and moved to New York City in 2017 – fulfilling a lifelong dream of living in the city that always felt like magic to me. During my time there, I worked in marketing, explored the city endlessly, and made seeing Broadway shows part of my everyday life.

When the world changed during the pandemic, I found myself back in Louisiana, rediscovering what home, creativity, and community meant to me. What started as a simple lifestyle blog slowly evolved into something more personal – a place to romanticize life, share experiences, and connect with others who love storytelling as much as I do.
