“August slipped away into a moment in time.” This lyric holds so much truth in it because it does feel like August went by quickly. Not a whole lot happened during this month as far as trips or fun activities are concerned. However, we did finish some projects around the house that I wanted to do. I painted the bottom kitchen cabinets a gorgeous light blue color and we replanted a section of the flower bed to create a bundle of hydrangeas. They are currently thriving and fighting against this hot and dry weather we have been in for the past month.
I’m excited for September to get here because we are starting to move into the holiday months. I can’t wait to decorate my house for Fall and change out my closest for the cooler months (that will hopefully come sooner rather than later).
