March 2024 Favorites

Oh my goodness, it has been a while since I’ve sat down and actually written a blog post! This is going to be the first of many posts in my quest to catch up on everything and get back into the routine of writing. It has been a crazy few months! I have spent all my free time outside of the busy holiday season at work creating art work for my stationery shop! Yes, I decided to add even more to my already busy schedule and open an Etsy Shop, Melissa Leigh Stationery (found on Etsy as MelLeighStationery – apparently my name is too long for them). This shop is my pride and joy and here you will currently find desk calendars, prints and stickers for Disney and Taylor Swift, with a speckle of other drawings and fandoms (and more to come!).

This month felt like it flew by after the first two months of the year dragged on and on. It doesn’t feel like much happened during the month, besides the typical sinus infection that happens around the seasonal change every year that took me out for almost two weeks. I was also able to complete my first 10K, even though it was a virtual one and I’m so excited to participate in my first in-person 10K race on Sunday. I was also able to register for the RunDisney Wine & Dine weekend with only minor struggles and a few panic attacks. I’m so excited to participate in my first in-person Disney race weekend (of course I’ll take y’all along on Instagram, TikTok and here). I want to start a running training blog series here, but if you want more in time updates on my training, I have a highlight for it on my Instagram page.

April is already full of exciting events, with a jam packed weekend to kick off the month and I can’t wait to see what else this month will bring!
