I can’t believe we’re officially in the holiday season months! I don’t know about you, but I felt like September went on forever, but not in a bad way. September felt like I did a lot, but also took it easy. I think a lot of it had to do with the increase of work that I did this past month and dealing with a high anxiety level for a week or two.
Here are a few fun things I did this past month. My best friend came in town for Labor Day Weekend and we got to facetime my other best friend and book our trip to Disneyland in November! My mom and I did a day trip to Dallas to go to the Arboretum for their autumn decor. I started making a large collection of Friendship Bracelets for the Eras Tour Movie and for Disneyland. I managed to run two 5K races – one at the beginning on the month and one at the end – and set new personal records each time. I also started the process of putting my highlights back in after realizing how much I was missing them. I also did a lot of self care and reflecting of where I want to go in life and trying to figure out the steps to get there. This month was a big month of growth, but also time relaxing at home to decompress every night.
Here are my September favorites:
Book: Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore
TV Show: The After Party season 2 (Apple TV)
Film: Love At First Sight(Netflix)
Song: “Single Soon” by Selena Gomez
Snack: Scarecrow Crunch from Target
Podcast: Dark History
Wardrobe Piece: The Viral Free People Dupe Two Piece Set from Amazon
What are some things that you discovered and loved this past month?
